The projector also comes with THX Certification. BenQ says the projector has 4K UHD with 8.3 million pixel resolution, and ‘ensures cinematic performance’ in the home which is as good as a commercial digital cinema experience.

BenQ’s W11000 produces 3840 x 2160 pixels for a true 8.3-millionpixel 4K UHD resolution, claims the company. It has single-DMD DLP technology to preserve image and colour accuracy, which is maintained even at 4K resolution. It has a highly optimised 4K optical system which uses a 14 high-resolution elements, a true zoom system, and special low-dispersion lens coatings to preserve spectacular visual quality.

The projector also comes with THX Certification, which is an audio/visual certification standard usually reserved for movie theaters, screening rooms, home speaker systems etc. BenQ claims their W11000 underwent over 18 months of rigorous development and 200 laboratory tests to get THX certification.

BenQ is promising a 50,000:1 dynamic contrast performance in order to preserve details even in the darkest of environments. The company claims W11000’s CinemaMaster image processing technology improves colour reproduction, flesh tone correction, and has advanced digital colour and luminance noise reduction.

The projector natively supports 2.35:1 anamorphic aspect ratio, offering the ultra-wide cinema experience, and allows for a wider viewing angle as well. The BenQ W11000 home projector is priced at Rs 3,99,000.
