This guy made his own virtual workspace with Microsoft’s HoloLens

Did you ever wonder if it was possible to use Microsoft’s HoloLens headset to be more productive when sitting in front of your computer? YouTube channel The Holo Heraldpublished yesterday a demo of his “mixed-reality office” where he pins many HoloLens apps around his desktop computer (via Reddit). In the video, you can see several Microsoft Edge windows, the Windows Store, the Windows 10 Photos app, Groove Music and even a code editor as live holographic windows which look like virtual workspaces around a computer screen. This mixed-reality office looks like an interesting HoloLens use case, and it seems very cool to be able to pin holographic apps to expand your computing experience. However, could using both a PC and HoloLens at the same time really make you more productive? The mixed-reality headset seems really good at providing a glance-and-go experience with HoloLens apps as Live Tiles on steroids. Let us know in the comments how would you use a HoloLens in front of your computer.
