ZTE’s brand Nubia is gearing up for the launch of its new smartphone scheduled for Wednesday, July 5 in India. While earlier this week Nubia India teased the launch of a smartphone, the image accompanying the company’s tweet suggested that the smartphone is likely to be the Nubia N2. Now, the Nubia N2 has been listed on Amazon India ahead of its Wednesday launch. Besides, following its Monday tweet, Nubia India has now revealed in a tweet that the smartphone will go on sale at 12pm on the launch day itself.
The Amazon India listing of Nubia N2 can be seen as “currently unavailable”, however it confirms that the specifications of variant that’s going to be launched in India are going to be similar to that of the Chinese model. However, it is not clear at this moment whether the price of Nubia N2 in India will be equivalent to its Chinese version. We will have to wait for the smartphone’s Wednesday launch to know the price.
In an earlier tweet, Nubia India posted an image with a tagline talking about the smartphone’s “astounding camera.” This points out to the launch of Nubia N2 that has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera. Apart from the aforementioned specifications, the Nubia N2 packs 5000mAh battery under the hood, which the Chinese company is showcasing as the smartphone’s USP. The Nubia N2 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Nubia UI 4.0 skin on top, sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) AMOLED display. It is powered by a MediaTek octa-core SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 64GB of inbuilt storage, and standard connectivity options including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, USB Type-C, fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
