‘I NEED A SHRINK’ Sleazy MP Simon Danczuk claims he needs sex addiction counselling after latest sordid scandal
SHAMED Labour MP Simon Danczuk will seek counselling for his sex addiction after admitting: “I need help.”
The Sun revealed last week the politician, 49, had sex with a woman on his constituency office desk.
But he has now said he wants to see a psychologist to help him stop getting caught up in scandals.
The dad of four, who exchanged 6,000 messages with the 22-year-old bookies worker, said: “I’ve been immature, kamikaze and irresponsible when it comes to sex.”
And he said: “I’m going to see a professional about sex addiction and my problems with relationships.”
Danczuk, who is MP for Rochdale, had a spanking session and romped with the woman, who we are calling Alice, just days after meeting her via Twitter.
They had unprotected sex on his office desk, sent saucy messages to each other and discussed fetish outfits.
But in a revealing interview with The Sun on Sunday, he admits “throwing caution to the wind” when the woman suggested they have sex on his desk.
And he said he feels crippled with guilt after romping on a sofa at his ex-wife’s home while their young children slept nearby.
Danczuk said he knows he has let himself down again.
Labour suspended Danczuk in December for sexting Sophena Houlihan, 17, after she applied for a job with him.
He claimed that he was “drunk, horny and alone” and vowed to change his ways.
But it was not long before Danczuk was up to his old tricks again.
He said he thought he had met “a good one” when engaging with Alice on Twitter.
Danczuk said: “I had been so good, going to church, doing meditation but then this girl took an interest in me. It was exciting but I was single.
“She was attractive and we just hit it off.”
Danczuk, who rents out his home in Rochdale and also has a place in London, said: “In hindsight I was gullible but at the time I was interested in her and she was amusing.
“We met up in a pub near where I live four days later and I thought it could be a normal relationship on the cards.

“I had no idea we were sending so many messages to each other, 6,000 between us is frightening.
“She sent me racy pictures and I responded. It did go through my mind that I should be careful as I’ve been burnt before but I didn’t listen to myself.”
Alice said that after a boozy night out, the randy MP spanked her and had sex with her in his constituency office, for which he received £22,000 in expenses last year.
But Danczuk, who confessed in December to a drink problem, said: “She was the one who instigated sex in the office. I’d had a couple of bottles of wine so threw caution to the wind.
“I shouldn’t have done it but I dismiss that it was anything illegal.
“I want to say sorry to my constituents for dragging my private life into the press rather than their issues.”
After another boozy night last month, Simon took Alice back to the Rochdale home of his ex-wife, selfie queen Karen, 33, while she was away.
The pair romped on the sofa while his sons Milton, eight, and Maurice, six, were in the room next door.
He admitted: “It’s something I deeply regret and makes me realise how immature I was. My boys were asleep and we’d been out and had a bottle of wine or two in the afternoon.
“We just got carried away and started having sex on the sofa.
“I don’t know why I did it. It was so immature. I’m a risk taker.
“I knew it was wrong as the boys weren’t far away but I thought it would be fine.
“But the girl I’d been with left her vaping stick on the couch and one of the boys found it and mentioned it to Karen.
“She was furious, obviously, and said, ‘what are you doing? You need to grow up’.
She told me I needed to get professional help.
“It made me realise I have to see a psychologist for my issues.
“I have got a problem and I admit that I need to seek help about sex addiction.
“I’ve been stupid and I’ve got a tendency to press the self-destruct button. It is damaging for my work, my family and my kids. I like sex, obviously.
“I don’t think I think about sex any more than a normal man.
“I also struggle in terms of relationships and that is something I need to speak to friends and the counsellor about.”
Danczuk added: “I’m making bad decisions and that has to stop.” He revealed that the relationship fizzled out after a row in a pub about cosmetic surgery and whether she would consider a boob job.
He said: “She took offence. We then just fizzled out a week or so after that.
“I was disappointed she spoke out about our relationship. I thought we got on well.
“It makes it very hard to trust anyone in a relationship now.”
Earlier this week The Sun revealed the explicit, expletive-strewn text messages he sent to Alice, who is now 23.
He now fears his young children will see what was written.
Danczuk said: “I knew I had to be more guarded but it did not stop me. I was irresponsible. I pressed self- destruct.”
He continued: “I have great regrets that my children will find out about some of the language I used in the messages. I feel embarrassed.
I will probably start going for more mature women
“Milton Googles my name and sees all the silly things I’ve done recently. I need to get a grip.
“This can’t keep happening or I’ll have no one left to support me. I’ve been irresponsible.
“My own life is slipping away from me and I need to get hold of it again.”
After political opponents called for him to step down, he discussed his future with Karen.
He said: “I talked about jacking it all in and said to Karen, ‘what is the point?’ But I have to keep going. I can’t quit.
“I am going to make sure that I don’t jump into any more relationships. I will start going for more mature women.
“They’ll probably be older than they have been.”
