Bing Search is front and center in latest Next Lock Screen app update for Android

Are you an Android user that wants to get your hands on some Microsoft software to spruce up your mobile experience? If so, then you might already be using Next Lock Screen. One of Microsoft’s more successful Android apps, the lock screen application gives Android users a slick, feature-filled lock screen that enables a ton of extra features. If you weren’t already satisfied with the option to include music players, weather updates, and calendars on your lock screen, then you’ll be happy to know that you can now also search on Bing without unlocking your phone.

What’s new:
Bing search: enable search experience on your lock screen. You can now do quick search without unlocking your phone.
With users on the Google Play store already writing reviews praising the feature (LaRonn Brown wrote, “You guys just made the best lock screen app even better. Love the quick search feature.”), it seems like the Bing Search option is something that people wanted and are getting an ample amount of use out of. Considering the fact that people often tend to pull out their phone just to quickly look something up, it makes sense to streamline the search process.
If you want to help with the development of this and other Next Lock Screen features, you can go to the app’s UserVoice page and help to contribute to the development process. Download the app below, and let us know in the comments if you’re using it on your Android device.
