The skyline of Blackpool is set to be lit up with thousands of fireworks as the World Championships return to the resort.
The free displays take place on Friday evenings throughout September, and will see pyrotechnic teams from across the globe battle it out to be crowned world champions.
Teams from Australia, Slovakia and the USA will compete this year for the title, with incredible displays set to music launching from North Pier near The Tower Festival Headland.
Tens of thousands of people are expected to pack out Blackpool promenade for the spectacular – so the advice is get there early to bag a spot.
Each event will start from 7.30pm with the first fireworks at approximately 8.30pm.
The roads are expected to be very busy, so visitors are advised to park in the car parks in the south of the resort then use the trams to get into town.
Please note, as is typical with that ever-changing autumn weather, all displays are subject to suitable conditions.
Friday, September 9 – Australia’s Skylighter Fireworks
