Pakistani heartthrob actor and singer Fawad Khan seldom plays an introvert during interaction, but mostly he never shies away from speaking his heart out.
And he did the same once again when asked his motive to become an actor.
Fawad Khan, whose good looks and charming persona have made him one of the hottest property in B-town, has recently revealed that acting to him was just a source to make money. He shares the reason of quitting computer engineering to join the showbiz industry.
“I couldn’t make money out of coding. I was a terrible computer engineer. I was down and I became an actor to make money,” said the 34-year-old actor while accepting the best film award for his romantic drama ‘Kapoor & Sons’ at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.
While his co-stars Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra were in America for the Dream Team Tour, the ‘Khoobsurat’ actor was accompanied by actor and producer Rishi Kapoor and the director of the film.
“I think being honoured with this award, not just on this platform, but also on so many other Indian platforms, goes to show how much love and warmth there is in the audience all around the world,” added Khan in his thanksgiving speech.
The actor will next be seen in the much-anticipated ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ along with Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
