Lasagna Day

In celebration of National Lasagna Day  on Friday, Olive Garden features lasagna with three dishes: the lasagna fritta appetizer has fried Parmesan-breaded lasagna, topped with Parmesan cheese and marinara sauce, with creamy Alfredo; the signature lasagna classico entrée features layers of pasta, Parmesan, mozzarella, pecorino Romano and homemade meat sauce with pan-seared beef and Italian sausage; and the chocolate caramel lasagna dessert, which has layers of vanilla-soaked sponge cake, chocolate, smooth caramel and creamy custard topped with chocolate shavings.

Inspired Italian cuisine

Become inspired to break the rules of tradition at Barbatella’s cooking class at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Learn techniques that will transform classic Italian foods into modern haute cuisine. Chef Jason Goddard will demonstrate how to use a variety of inspired techniques, then you will enjoy a light meal with a glass of wine. $45 per person.
