J.Okay. Rowling’s latest story of wizardry is about atop the mountains in Massachusetts.
The second installment in a group referred to as “Magic in North America” describes a secret wizardingschool positioned at the height of Mount Greylock in the Berkshires. The tale become posted Tuesday on Rowling’s Pottermore web page.
The story, “Ilvermorny school of Witchcraft and Wizardry,” offers the backstory for the North Americanfaculty of magic, based inside the 17th century. An orphaned Irish lady sails throughout the sea at theMayflower to Massachusetts, where the faculty is established.
The story is a tie-in to the upcoming movie “Remarkable Beasts and where to Find Them,” scheduled forrelease Nov. 18. The film is an adaptation of Rowling’s book by the equal name and is the author’s screenwriting debut.
