Evan Blass, a famous blogger has pointed out, in one of his latest articles on venture beats, that LG would soon introduce the second-generation models of its smartphones. The models would include the mid-range K and X series along with the third-generation phablet that works with a stylus.
The article also points toward four of the K-series handsets that will come early next year, which includes K3, K4, K8, and K10. All the models are likely to debut at CES that takes place in January along with a new line up called as LG X calibur and LG Stylus 3.
Other reports mention, that the company might unveil the LG X power 2 at the Mobile World Congress 2017, which takes place every year in Barcelona, Spain.
The report points out at all the models that will be making their way, along with their brief specs. The list of phones mentioned on Ventura beats include-
LG K3 2017— The LG K3 is likely to feature a 4.5-inch display with a 5 Megapixel rear camera and 2 Megapixel front-facing camera along with a 2100mAh battery.
LG K4 2017 — The LG K4 would feature a 4.7-inch display, backed with an 8 Megapixel rear camera, along with a 5 Megapixel front-facing camera and a 2500mAh battery.
LG K8 2017 — LG K8 will come with a 5.0-inch HD display, along with a 13 Megapixel rear camera and a front facing 5 Megapixel camera, powered by a 2500mAh battery.
LG K10 2017 — This phone would feature a 5.3-inch HD display with 2.5D glass on front and back and use a 5 Megapixel wide-angle, front-facing selfie camera, along with a fingerprint reader.
LG X power 2 — The X power 2 will come with a 5.5-inch HD display, 4500mAh battery, 13 Megapixel rear camera sensor, along with a wide-angle 5 Megapixel front-facing selfie camera.
LG X calibur — The X calibur is rumoured to be water and dust resistant with IP68 certification, along with military-standard durability and powering the phone would be a 4100mAh battery.
LG Stylus 3 (Stylo 3 plus) — LG Stylus 3 would be the phablet model that will feature a 5.7-inch display accompanied with a digital pen and a 32GB of storage. The phone at the back would feature a 13 Megapixel rear camera, whereas the front gets a 5 Megapixel front-facing camera, accompanied with flash on both front and back. This device will come using a 3200mAh battery and feature a fingerprint reader as well.
The report indicates that LG would start shipping the K –series models by the mid of January, trailed with Stylus 3 in mid-February, X calibur in March and X power 2 in the end of April.
