The CIA staff has arrested Lal Singh of Kot Baba Deep Singh, located on the Sultanwind road, for allegedly selling and purchasing stolen mobile phones. The police recovered five expensive mobile phones from his possession.Investigating officer Balwinder Singh said a case under Section 411 of the IPC had been registered in this connection. He said more recoveries were likely to be made following his interrogation. The police recovered two Apple, two Micromax and a Samsung brand phone from his possession.He said the police had received a tip off that the accused was involved in stealing mobile phones. On basis of the information, a raid was conducted and during his search the police recovered the phones, he added. He said further investigation was under progress.
