Walsall FC decided to accept the Mannequin Challenge, the latest Internet craze to sweep the nation – and they did not disappoint. The team got together to show “a day at the training ground” and the life of a Walsall footballer, including fan photos, signings, physiotherapy and even having an unwanted audience in the bath.
The Mannequin Challenge originated in the USA, but continues to spread across the UK, with sports teams in particular trying their best to tackle the challenge. With Walsall’s next fixture coming up on Saturday against Gillingham, it remains to be seen whether the team will be attempting to tackle more Internet challenges or stick to the normal training regimen.
