Introducing The Floppotron, a micro orchestra made from a collection of obsolete computer junk. It was built by Pawel Zadrożniak, and it features 64 floppy drives, eight hard disks and two scanners that bleep, pop and screech out all your favorite hits.
Check above for a righteous cover of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. And that’s not all: Zadrożniak also has it rigged up to play the “Imperial March” from Star Wars and the theme from “Hawaii Five-O“.
Continue down the mechanical music wormhole with this crazy music box that sounds like a drunk avant-garde trio.
