iPad Mini 5 To Be Unveiled At Apple’s September 7 Event With The iPhone 7: Specs, Features Overview
Apple has been quite busy lately with the upcoming release of its latest flagship iPhone 7 and iPone 7 Plus. In line with this, fans can also expect the arrival of yet another Apple device, the iPad Mini 5.
Recently, iTech Post has reported that the launch of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is happening next week. Many believed that the Cupertino tech giant will take advantage of the said event to unveil the iPad Mini 5.
The iPad Mini 5: What We Know So Far
Apple has not made any confirmation about the iPad Mini 5. However, rumors surfaced online about the upcoming device’s specs. Allegedly, the device will run on Apple A9 processor with 3GB RAM. There is also a possibility that Apple will include a 256GB variant for the new iPad Mini 5.
It might also feature an 8MP rear camera and 1.2 MP on the front. The new iPad Mini 5 might also showcase a 3D touch feature that allows users to draw on the screen. It is also more likely to have a touch sensitive home button. Apple could also get rid of the 3.5mm headphone jack, similar to the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Previousreport also states that the new iPad Mini 5 and iPad Air 3 might be water proof.
As of this writing, no solid confirmation has been done yet. However, reports claim that the price of the new iPad Mini 5 will be as follows:
- 32GB approximately $450
- 64GB approximately $500
- 128GB approximately $600
The Apple iPad Mini 5 will be unveiled alongside iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on Sept. 7 at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.
